About Me.
Originally from the South Wales Valleys, my love of painting was always going to mean a creative path for me. I graduated from Bath Spa University in 1998 with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration.
After moving back to Wales I worked as an exhibition designer before rediscovering my love of landscape painting and exploring oil paints.
I now work full time as a landscape artist, I paint everyday, usually outdoors 'en plein air' or from my open studio in Abergavenny. I take my painting kit everywhere and can often be found sat on a hillside or cliff painting on a sunny day or inside my car/studio on a rainy day

Art Education
After fantastic encouragement from my art teachers at Lewis Girls School in Ystrad Mynach I did an Art Foundation Course at the Mid-Glamorgan Centre of Art (now Coleg Gwent) in 1994-95 achieving a distinction.
I then did a Degree in Illustration and Graphic Design in Bath Spa University 1995 -98 achieving a 2-1 and making friends for life.
